Rochester Brooks offers a fast-paced and thrilling practical shooting sport that will improve your gun handling skills and proficiency through a series of courses of fire that contain obstacles, various steel & paper targets including moving targets. Every match is different and every stage is new so it’s a different every time. This handgun based sport accommodates stock pistols & revolvers all the way up to highly customized “race guns” with red dot sights and compensators.
A safety orientation will be conducted prior to your first match and you will be paired with an experienced shooter to help you get started off the right way. Safety is our #1 concern so safe gun handling will be strenuously taught, supervised and practiced at all times on any Rochester Brooks range.
We hold monthly matches usually on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Matches consist of 6 stages and approximately 125+ rounds per match. We are affiliated with The United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) and follow all rules. Our matches are all Level I sanctioned events and the annual Rochester Brooks Invitational Match will soon be a Level II event. For more information, visit: http://www.uspsa.org/
