Plan B:

Combine our first shoot of the new fall season, with the shoot-off by class, with the trophy team shoot off for trophies and awards.   The club that hosts the last two shoots of the season, by rule, hosts the first shoot of the new season – Rochester-Brooks in this case.

At this point, I will cut and mail all prize money checks involving 50-50 raffle money, Lewis and Hi-Gun purses, as these are established and no reason to hang onto the funds.  The checks will be sent directly to shooters, many of our clubs are not open for business, so this is also a way to communicate with the handful of league members who do not provide an email address.

Our club directors will meet later this summer, in person if possible or by email, to decide whether to hold an awards banquet following the shoot off – any input you’d like to provide, for or against, is certainly appreciated at this time.   Once the new season is set, we will send out the program and invitation to join, as usual.

We are sorry for the loss of our season, but it’s a small thing compared to what many of our families are going through, the illness or loss of family members, of jobs and income, not to mention our 401(k)’s – we will come back, strong, and hope to see you all if not over this summer, then at the first shoot in the Fall.
